Ongoing projects in Philadelphia

Well, there's the escalating murder rate. 142 murders in the city since the beginning of the year. 67 of them involving kids. I don't think that needs a picture.

There's also the ongoing problems with the alarming increase of racism and hate crimes, poverty, rapings, robberies, police brutality, homelessness, and traffic accidents. Again, you really don't need a visual.

There was a video of two cops beating the hell out of an unarmed guy with nightsticks on the daily news about four or five days ago. That pissed me off. The Philadelphia FoP gets away with murder. Literally.

Last spring break, there was a group of about two dozen drunken frat fuckheads who went around a black neighborhood, shattered shop windows, vandalized cars, pissed on the sides od house, etc. The police decided that boys will be boys and didn't do anything but arrest one person. Three weeks later, demonstrators from an all-black college marched near South Street to hold a peaceful protest on what had happened. No weapons of any kind. They were met by a squad of cops in full riot gear and were "repelled" with tear gas and rubber bullets.

We still have this idiot in office just because he's black.




And we still have this man on death row. Just because he's black.



On the upside, the Phillies just got a new ballpark. Too bad the Phillies suck and the food and concessions there cost more than what a quarter of the city makes in three days.

Move down here, as you can see, we have plenty of new residences and that doesn't include suburban housing neighborhoods and apartment complexes going up like hands at a school for nerds.

2 things, Much of it is expensive but there are plenty thats market rate and Jacksonville is as likey to get hit by a hurricane as Philly. It's statistically the least likey place on the East cost to be bit from Delaware on south.

It hasn't been hit for well over 100 years if not more.

Granted, they still abide by the Fl hurricane construction laws that enforce extra strengthening just in case.

There was a video of two cops beating the hell out of an unarmed guy with nightsticks on the daily news about four or five days ago. That pissed me off. The Philadelphia FoP gets away with murder. Literally.

Last spring break, there was a group of about two dozen drunken frat fuckheads who went around a black neighborhood, shattered shop windows, vandalized cars, pissed on the sides od house, etc. The police decided that boys will be boys and didn't do anything but arrest one person. Three weeks later, demonstrators from an all-black college marched near South Street to hold a peaceful protest on what had happened. No weapons of any kind. They were met by a squad of cops in full riot gear and were "repelled" with tear gas and rubber bullets.

We still have this idiot in office just because he's black.




And we still have this man on death row. Just because he's black.



On the upside, the Phillies just got a new ballpark. Too bad the Phillies suck and the food and concessions there cost more than what a quarter of the city makes in three days.
Is that dreaded guy the one who killed all his children and had a baby by one of his daughters??
