I've been thinking about how to make it easier to visit other towns together without simply randomly checking Copper to see if someone's opened their gates. I know some of us have AIM, but a lot of AC'ers here at NNow don't.

Here's my proposal. I say we work on having a stickied thread that lists a fixed time (ie., Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6pm-7pm) that a player will have their town open for all to visit. Perhaps three times a week or whatever. This way, we'll each have our own chosen times to invite people, and people will have an hour (at least) to visit so-and-so's town.

Once everyone were to list their chosen weekly times, then all we'd have to do is look in the thread and see that Alloy is opening his gates Thurs from 6-7pm east, Saturday from 3pm-4pm, etc. It would make things a lot easier, right? This is just a proposal, and in my opinion would be good idea and add to the AC:WW mystique. Once we were to get used to it, we'd think "Oh its Thursday. 'Visit Alloy Day' at 6pm." I know we can only have 3 or 4 ppl in a town at a time, but if enough people were to dedicate to keep up those volunteered weekly times they choose, then we may have enough towns for people to go to if they find they aren't able to get in because it's crowded. They can just try again with someone else's town the next day or whatever.

So what do you think?
