Its launching in Aust. on the 23rd..who's getting one?
Ive yet to be able to play it, but reading all the magazines that come in the mail it seems that retailers are struggling to make more than 5 positive points about it. i mean i read one point where it said: PLAYS DVD's!!!
..  ill play it first, but $648 is quite a bit to pay (especially when Sony is holding a PS3 conference tommorow) so who is getting one?

Im not. I might get one so I can play all these awsome FarCry games, because they arnt coming out on PC.
 (Except for the first one). Other than that, Im getting Oblivion for PC also...and im spending 590 on a graphics card tomorow.

Oh austrailia, I thought you meant august and I was all confused. You should enjoy it, if austrailia doesnt fuck you over with their policies on violent games. (I remember wwf games had to have the blood edited out of them back in the n64 days).

I haven't touched mine in awhile...but thats cause of lent.
however I really wanna get back to Tony Hawk and PGR3...and I wanna get Burnout and GRAW...and Oblivion.... I'd say its worth it...but I don't get much time at all to even play it when I don't have 3 papers due in a week.

I know of 2 people that have pre-ordered however I've given up gaming for a while I'll probably jump on the 360 bandwagon during the 2nd price drop something like $299 would be a better price for me. (That's probably like 2yrs away)
But the main reason I won't be getting a 360 is because although I had $4000 in my pocket I bought a  Not my bike but the same colour scheme and model of course.

I am not getting one on the Aussie Launch. I know a few people who are and I will give it a decent play through on thier systems before I decide if I want one or not.

whats the launch line up? I know in America, its definitly worth it now. However if you dont have the likes of GRAW, Burnout, Fightnight, etc., dont bother.

i might go to EB on the 23rd to see how the launch goes (and to get hl2 if it's been re-released yet), i have to go to dse too to get a usb key drive thingy. not buying one though, $650 is too much, esp. after buying a new notebook...

I tell you what, they need to relaunch in America...as in get some darn systems in! I want one so bad now and yet cannot buy one because they are unavailable. After spring break I won't have time to run around to stores (college), and yet they are getting in new shipments around April 2nd it seems...but that's after my spring break. Oh well. Maybe I'll get sis to help me and keep an eye out for em. I've waited four months patiently and I'm tired now. I want to get one when they'll still worth paying $400 bucks for, after all.

My Wal-Mart and Eb Games dont have them, and they arent many places to go in town...that may be about it, besides a Best Buy a little ways out.
Wal-Mart doesn't know when they'll get a new shipment in, and when they do they say it's almost always cores. EB Games was taking "preorders", but they've been "cut off" now.
