Just nitpicking, but you're quoting the video review, not the author of the article itself. However, one page 2 of each review, it is all the same guy listed at the author of the article.

What amazes me though is that this guy reviewd all three versions. If he really did finish all of them which echoes similar comments from the Kotaku reviewer who says he was considering his next character class origin story as he approached the end of his playthrough because he enjoyed the game that much and didnt want it to end. Game seems to be fantastic and better than i expected. Even the Giant Bomb guys who resonate the most with me when it comes to sites i trust for reviews gave the game a 5/5. Whatever your choice of console or PC version it seems we are all in for a treat.

Well wow, this game has surpassed any thoughts I could have had of it. It is a pleasent surprise and I think I will be buying this. It has a really good plot so far and a fun combat system. HPK if you liked oblivion or anything lord of the ringsish I think you would enjoy this game.

I'm not dismissing the game. I did enjoy Oblivion and I'm still a fan of the the whole "medieval fantasy" thing, but I'm holding off on Dragon Age for a while.

I'm trying to adjust to my character. I thought i be a commoner dwarf on the rise but im just a pathetic dude . I wonder if the story would intertwine if i was a noble. I got school now so i'll start playing when i come back home.

So whats the story with the normal difficulty on the console version? I hear its a bit easy is that true? Would you guys recommend playing on normal or hard?

i only got out of the intro to my character so i can't tell. Though i have it on normal mode just because i ....want it to be normal i guess. I'm more interested in the main plot then battling. Im also not a big fan of side quests unless it's for like an ultimate weapon.

The story is going ok. A bit more linear than i imagine and the combat is less than thrilling. The game could be better but the story atm is keeping me going. I like my funny companion too.

I have had some tough times. Nothing where I have had to load a save or anything, but have gotten very close to running out of health potions a few times. Could be due to my class maybe?

I am thoroughly enjoying the game though.

I liiiiiked it.
I started out as a City Elf and the story was ok but I didn't feel really into it.
So I tried the Magi story and I only played like 5 minutes before I was like "No."
I guess with so many classes and stories, I wanted to find one that I felt attached to... and so I started playing as a Dalish Elf and <3!!! I really love getting into the story and emotionally attached to what's going on and I actually felt a little sad when I left my village for bigger, better things.

I definitely am liking it so far. Plus my girl is really cute.

This game is LONG. (><). I haven't spent this much time on a recent game in a while. I think im about 44% through.

Game sounds fantastic. I have to give one little criticism though even though i dont have the game yet but will soon enough. I hear ppl complaining on forums that they run into NPC's in the game and they offer them quests that can only be played if you purchase future DLC. If true then thats really messed up. I know the game is about 60 hours and i think thats fantastic and the right length for the best RPG's ( Take note Peter Molyneux ) but im the type of gamer that this will nag during the entire game having quests i cant complete sitting in my logbook and wondering curiously what i can find in this new area or what weapons await. Maybe its best to play the game after the DLC releases?

Well it won't even sit in your logbook i don't think. I have only come across one character and it's at your main camp and easily ignored.

i just met one when traveling. It wasn't a big deal and decided to skip it before knowing i had to pay for it. The game is to long for it.
