Dale Jr. wins 2-out-of-4

For the second time this season (4 races), Dale Earnhardt, Jr. has finished in first. For the second time this season, the fans have got up out of their seats once he took the lead and cheered for joy once he crossed that finish line. Dale Jr's victories wouldn't be that big of a deal had his father not of died. It's tragic, yes, but come on peoplem get over it! He died over three years ago. Junior's even getting sick of all this talk of his father's death.

But anyway. In only four races this season, NASCAR has had only two different winners. Dale Jr., and the defending Nextel Cup Champion Matt Kenseth. Dale Jr. won the Daytona 500, followed by two in a row by Kenseth. Then Sunday came and junior won, again.

As I pull my attention away from the winners of 2004, I would like to recognize someone who has dominated the track without a victory. He goes by the name of Kasey Kahne. I'm proud to say that this NASCAR phenom is a Washington-native. He was born in Enumclaw, Washington. In his first year in NASCAR, taking over for Bill Elliot, has 3 consecutive top 3 finishes and has moved up into fourth place in the point standings. His worse finish was a DNF (did not finish) at the "Big Race." The Daytona 500. He was involved in the "Big One" when Michael Waltrip went for a spin and wound up doing some 3 or 4 flips in the air.

I know that most of you aren't NASCAR fans, so I'm sorry to bore you to death,

Jeff

Kurt Busch pulls off victory at Bristol by holding off Rusty Wallace.

Sucks! I picked Kurt Busch to win but I wanted Rusty to win.

The problem I have with his dad is, he spun other drivers out to win. That's chicken-****. If he was good enough, he would've gotten past the guys in front of him to win.
