Nintendo UK reports sales of....
Nintendo UK announces its 1 millionth DS sold


One Million is a heck of alot of DS's for the UK to be sold in a single year.


However this announcement comes shortly after Sony announced that PSP had outsold the DS, it turns out that claim was most likely false seeing as it relied heavily on incomplete sales charts from Chart-Track data. Chart-Track data did not include Nintendo's highest selling retailer Toys'R Us.

Nintendo's software sales across europe have been very strong as well with 800,000 copies of MarioKart being sold and 1.6 million copies of Nintendogs.

However it is becoming fairly obvious that the Playstation Brand is one major problem in the UK, time to take it out

It's a major problem is it? So are you going to take me out because I have more fun and enjoyment using my PSP than a DS?

^^ I seem to find Nintendo's announcement that they sold 1 million DSes more professional than Sony coming out and saying that they outsold the DS.

That's a fair enough point, but Dude was only stating that he thinks the PSP did rediculously good in the UK, which was true.

okay did ChartTrack fix the numbers or does the Ninty announcement put the DS over the top?
Because I trust a Ninty announcement jsut as much as I trust a Sony announcement.
Of course you have to remember the PSP is also sold @ Toys-R-Us, which could make the war even closer than originally thought.......
