StarGate SG-1 gets a game

Alright we all know that Namco was forced to drop StarGate SG-1 because MGM wouldnt renew the past liscense and let it fall into the hands of Namco. So MGM just liscensed out the StarGate franchise to Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment .

Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment has confirmed it is already working with MGM interactive on the next StarGate game. Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment really stunned everyone when they announced the new StarGate game would be an MMORPG. Thats right not only is StarGate going to be MMO it will be an RPG. The new games name will be Stargate Worlds.

Stargate Worlds has no current platform announced, however its very easy to jump to the conclusion that PC will be the Defaul platform.

So cant you wait for the StarGate Sg-1 MMORPG and Ill update you as soon as I hear about the future of the current generation SG-1 FPS.

Lets hope that Namco can regain the right to publish the SG-1 FPS!
