Capcom Unveils Rev line-up in Official Nintendo Magazine


Nintendo in the U.K is working on the first issue of the Official Nintendo Magazine since the move to new publisher Future. Nintendo is going to promote this magazine with all their power announcing that it will get all the news before its competing 3rd party magazines do.

In the first issue quote "With unrivalled access to the biggest Nintendo-related stories, Official Nintendo Magazine speaks exclusively with the creators of Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, Megaman and Street Fighter, Capcom about their plans for Revolution. The four-page feature reveals what games will be coming to the new system and just how the company hopes to utilize the cutting-edge controller."

that's right in the first issue of Nintendo official magazine, Capcom will be unveiling their Revolution line-up. This is big news as we get to see what capcom has planned for the Nintendo Revolution.

The Magazine will also include promotional decals for AnimalCrossing and Nintendogs so you can customize your Nintendo DS.

Any ideas on what games Capcom will be announcing for Revolution ?

Since it states Line-Up we can assume multi-pull games are headed for Revolution (With RE5 not being a possibility) what titles do you think Capcom has instore for Revolution?

how about a megaman FPS? i'd like to see if it could make the same transition as the metroid series.

in the interview with the guy who worked on RE:DS, he said the first title will not be using any of their IP (or did he say just RE).

In the Interview he said that Capcom wants to ensure that the RE series always utalizes the hardware to its fullest and that RE5 wont be headed to Revolution because they'd like to make some other games first to get used to the hardware.

I'm thinking a possible Okami Port (Sorry if I spelt Okami wrong) It would be perfect just beef up the graphics a bit and your all set. The paintbrush idea would work 100% perfectly with the Revolution controller!

No, they did not say that. They did state however that they'd like to experiment with the Revolution hardware through another game, but they never said they wouldn't port Resident Evil 5 eventually. After all, it'll only be released somewhere in 2007, so there's plenty of time for Capcom to develop RE5 for the Revolution.

The more I think about it, a four-page spread is REALLY long for a magazine. If they don't have some screenshots I don't know how they'd fill that up, and it would be pretty boring to read four pages of just speculation/comment from Capcom. I mean, if they announce porting of RE5 they can just put screenshots of that in, because RE5 shots have already been released. But otherwise... what would they put in?

They could post retarded pictures like ones of the people they're talking to, past Capcom games, and quote lots of important quotes in large, bold letters.

Just realised capcom is prolly my favorite 3d party producer... when i think about it. PS, VJ, RE4... those and Zelda and Eternal Darkness is my top list. 3 out of 5 is not bad. I will be checking back to see what they unveil.

i think VJ is most definitly one of them. RE has a great chance as well. Hopefully there is at least one original title.
