i have to giggle at this. i remember a long time ago saying that it would soon be impossible to post in the right section of these forums because of the nature of PS3. this definitely belongs here because its through your PS3 even though its PS1 games on PSP LOL... thats an interesting bunch of games, all of which will play brilliantly on the PSP.

Well, it seems you connect to PSP to your PS3 via USB and buy and download, it transfers to your memory stick.

They're saying January for playable/downloable PS1 games on PS3. That's what I want.

EWWWW. Bad file size. But, cheap and that's cool.

It won't mess with your Japanese PSP I bet. I'm sure it's just like downloading demos.. Japanese and US ones work on both systems.

What do you guys expect? They can only compress a game so much without taking features away from it. I'm actually glad they didn't do things like strip away audio tracks and FMV (which accounts for most of PS1 games' file size).

As I said on GAF, I love the pricing and sizes, I also think it won't be long till we see original PSP games on the PS Store for DL if this takes off.

Man by Europe release I hope Sony delivers more on the potential that we all know the PS3 has.

Hey! I totally said that first! I hope they can get SF2 up there, because that one is even better.

That's pretty cool though, especially at 6 USD. Great price, I think they could go a bit lower, but that's still an excellent price.

The original disc space usage of SF1 was the whole 700 megs, but here it's only 350, maybe it's compressed a lot because I'm sure the PS3 would have no problem quickly unpacking that stuff.

Tekken 3 is so much better than Tekken 2 btw lol.

I wonder how long it will take to get all the games legally possible up there? That's like 1000 games lol! It'd be amazing if they could do it in a year or so. But then again, you really just need the good and great games up there, so that's probably gonna be like 200 or 300 games I guess???

Anyways, I wonder if they'll get Blasto up there haha. Does anyone else remember that game? Or Runabout 2? Those games were pretty funny lol.
