    Looks pretty cool.

As a shooter/action game, RE5 is still pretty awesome and better than most games. I had quite a bit of fun playing it at least. I wish it was more 'RE,' but whatever, can't do anything about that now.

Is this new Gold edition coming for PC also?

    Certainly not at launch.

By the way, you can download version 2.00 right now by just introducing your RE5 disc on your PS3, so that you can save time before the DLC is made available. You can already watch some new collectible figures in the extra section.

Cool, also I read in the 360 section there is a 'classic' camera bonus thing.

Does that mean an isometric camera?

I also hate costume packs... I'm sure they help out with balancing a budget, but... it's just costumes... are two character models $2/$60 of a full game? Lol.

Finally found some info for you.......How To Unlock The Resident Evil 5 DLC "Classic" Camera

The new Resident Evil 5 downloadable content "Lost in Nightmares" is available. It features a special surprise.

As an easter egg, the game has a hidden "classic" camera angle mode from the earlier titles. Here's how to unlock it: Talk to the front door a couple of times until it says "?" instead of investigate.

"Lost in Nightmares" is the first major story DLC for Resident Evil 5. Protagonist Chris Redfield joins forces with Jill Valentine from the previous RE titles.

They have more pics using the camera angle if you follow the link!

It's quite different from RE5 on the whole, it's clearly a homage to the earliest games. It's probably a lot more enjoyable than some sections of the main game if you miss the old times.

The second episode seems a lot more RE5-ish.

I love how they brought back the classic camera for old school enthusiasts, but I found it quite difficult to play the game like that then again I never was good at that camera angle. As for the DLC I couldn't be happier what I got out of it and it was really cheap. It makes me anxious to get my hads on the second portion of the DLC and I can only hope it's just as fun if not better than Lost in Nightmares.

It was really cheap but i expected more. Only lasted 30 minutes and only one type of enemy Wesker boss fight also sucked. Id give it a 7/10.

It definitely was short but if you play through it on professional there's a bit of replay value there and a few surprises as far as enemy encounters go. Trust me.

Yeah, I've read that playing at higher difficulties makes a difference. I'll be replaying it in the future.

Not a spoiler, but I am sure on Veteran or Professional, there'll be more enemies in the "water" level... since there's once piece already in the machine and one "lift" was left on normal when you continued.

One thing though... bad ending imho... No interesting dialogue, no nothing... Was a bit disappointing, imho.

Mercs Reunion is fun. Barry ROCKS! Plus the "rejigged" maps are cool (different enemy combos per level, for example the "spiders" in Shanty Town or Dogs in the Mines). Still need to unlock the rest though.

We knew the ending already, and to be honest I got more than I expected for 5 euros.

No question, 5€ for such a DLC is a good price. Especially a year after release of the original game. And yes, we knew the ending through the original game, but... beside the texts you find throughout the game (in the computer room, you can find additional ones in the book shelves), there's no lore, and no cutscenes either. That is what I found a bit lacking. You don't even SEE Spencer in-game either.

But... the additional Mercs characters are worth the 5€ for me... if there were additional maps, it would be even better, but... I can live with that too.

Resident Evil 5: Desperate Escape Review

Despite Desperate Escape being little more than a rehash of any number of Resident Evil 5's levels, this is still a hugely enjoyable example of why DLC has become a vital part of the gaming landscape. For the meagre sum of 400 Microsoft Points, or £3.99 over PSN, you're getting another quality episode, and anyone who enjoyed the game's campaign won't be disappointed with more of the same.
    8/10

I must give props to capcom and agree with Segitz that compared to the other DLC i purchased for Borderlands and Assassins Creed this is really cheap.
